Our Process

Consultation

We always schedule a consultation at your home (or via video conferencing, depending on your location and/or needs) to discuss the details of your project.  During this time, we decide on the best approach for your needs and determine how we can best bring your ideas to life!

Design Concepts

Once we have all information needed including budget, floor plans, inspiration photos, etc., we will schedule a design kick off meeting with you to discuss your preferences and goals for the design. From there, we start with the layout and design direction. Then, we bring the layout to life with design boards that include options for color palettes, finishes, fixtures and furnishings, (depending on your needs). 

Details

Once design concepts are approved, we create a specification book and provide quotes for your approval.  This includes suggestions for finishes, hard materials and selection of furnishings + décor that bring the approved design to life. This could include (depending on client needs) sourcing and purchasing fixtures, flooring, tiles, furniture, lighting, window treatments, appliances, etc.

If budget allows, we can ensure all projects are executed as intended by working with your contractor to make arrangements for the materials specified are purchased through our trusted vendors. Upon the completion of this phase of work, the team will be ready to prepare for construction and/or final install (if applicable). 

Final Deliverables

Once all design details are finalized and all items are ordered, we will hand over a specification book for your home.  If applicable, on renovation or new construction jobs, we will schedule an install or “staging” day that works with your construction team at the end of the project. Our photographer will also set up a day to shoot your home professionally.
